Spending money on new things is a major problem of…..everyone who has money. Even people who have just a little bit of it. Though, people become dissatisfied with their material purchases. Phone, computers, and cars, break down. That first scratch or dent is overwhelmingly upsetting. “How could i be so careless?” you curse! Then, on top of that, a new model comes out and that asshole Karen picks one up and makes sure you see it everyday! What a Dick, that Karen!
Despite these harsh realities, there are people who spend money on experiences, and don’t feel as disappointed with their decision. Buying concert tickets or going on a road trip can be expensive but, people don’t care when it’s all said and done. Simply because memories don’t scratch, they don’t dent. They only replay. As many times as you want. That exciting first call on your new and “confusing” smart phone will get old and frustrating. Your new car will eventually smell funny. The emotions of your new purchase will turn to shit before your very eyes, everyday. Until you buy a new one. Then you repeat that process until you die. YES, DIE!…….sorry. phew.
So next time you are sitting on a pretty new paycheck, stick with the flip phone! Stick with the shit-box lebaron! Then grab some friends and drive somewhere. Take pictures. LOTS. (Though, don’t use your Lebaron, it will break down. Instead take that bitch Karen’s new Camry)
